SPOT Shopping Mall opened
SPOT Shopping Mall, a new shopping center, the largest shopping center in the area from Split to Dubrovnik, opened in Makarska today.
It was opened jointly on behalf of the Tommy company by Zoran Mamić, and Makarska Mayor Jure Brkan, who said on that occasion:
I’m thrilled. The top thing is that in the difficult time after the coronavirus, we got 250 new jobs today, with the goal of having 300. We had an eternal parking problem in Makarska, so it should be emphasized that this complex has 350 parking spaces. What Mr. Mamić and their company have done is to be commended, they will no longer have to go to Split for such a big purchase. I wish them good luck in their work and I want others to follow their good example. I hope we continue the good collaboration between the City and Tommy. I congratulate them on their courage to invest, but also on the excellent way of performing the works that led to such an important facility for the city and the entire Makarska Riviera.
After that, Zoran Mamić handed over a donation to the football club Zmaj in the amount of 30,000 kuna, and the whole morning the center was full of numerous guests, but also Makarana, who immediately rushed to see this important building.
The center covers over 22,000 square meters, with 32 business premises. The center includes Tommy, Muller, New Yorker, Intersport, Deichmann, MASS, s.Oliver, Svijet Medija, Pepco, Lunaria and many other well-known brands, and the value of the investment is over 180 million kuna.
The working hours of the center will be every day from 9 am to 10 pm, and you can check how it was at the opening in the photo gallery.
